Well That Was Whack :-P

Hello there...

On base they have a handy little book that identifies various places off of the base to go for different reasons.  Like they have a camping section, outdoor section, shopping, pampering, food... you get the idea.  One of the hard things about it is that they don't have very good directions and sometimes the location is longitude and latitude coordinates.  We do not have a GPS that identifies Korean places so we have to use Daniel's phone and just figure it out using Google maps.  Well, I saw in the outdoor section a botanical garden that wasn't too far away and so Daniel and I headed there.

I packed a light lunch, the fold up chairs, and our picnic blanket thinking that it would be nice to have a picnic at the garden...  So it was quite literally just like farm land in front of a bunch of buildings; one which was a greenhouse and the other they looked to be growing only tulips.  We were there for all of 5 minutes and I really didn't think that was it, there was no way!  Why would they even advertise this place in the book if that is all it was?  Then I looked at the description in the book and it pretty much did say that it was a small area of land with a couple of greenhouses.  Apparently later this month they have a tulip festival but that really is all.

Disappointing!?!

So this is the building.

Can't say it wasn't nice inside but...

...it wasn't worth the 30 minute drive. :-P

The plants and flowers were pretty...

Great colors...

...
Isaiah 40:6-8
A voice says, "Cry!"
And I said, "What shall I cry?"
All flesh is grass,
and all its beauty is like the flower of the field.
The grass withers, the flower fades
when the breath of the Lord blows on it;
surely the people are grass.
The grass withers, the flower fades,
but the word of our God will stand forever.

LOL,
Camille
