Overly Excited

Anyone else get overly excited when the weather warms up and jump too quickly to doing hot weather things?  Like wearing flips flops, tank tops, and going to the beach because it is 70F outside? LOL :-D

I told Daniel that I wanted to go to the beach awhile back, not to go swimming but just to see where it is and what it looks like.  He had a day off during the week this week and so we went to Taeanhaean National Park where there are several beaches up and down the coastline.  It was much too cold and much too foggy to enjoy.  Also the particular beaches we stopped at were littered with all sorts of man made things like crab/fish cages and floatation devices.

Of course there were no people there because it was cold (probably like in the low 50s) and windy but I could see the potential.  We drove past lots of seafood places but no where Daniel was willing to experiment.  I wanted to go to one but the advertising pictures outside of the restaurants displayed many unappetizing looking seafood dishes that I would be hesitant but willing to try, well some of them anyway.

We will go back again in the summer when it is actually nice enough outside to enjoy and hopefully the experience will be much better :-)

At this point we could hear the ocean but couldn't see it and were unwilling to keep walking into the unknown because weren't sure how we'd find our way back to the car... We realized the safety concern early into the walk.

Not sure what this says but I liked the picture op.

I can read that clearly!

We found water!!!

 Hello there little crab...

Beach to the left random little forest to the right :-)

We'll come back in the summer.

Jeremiah 5:22
Do you not fear me? declares the Lord.  Do you not tremble before me?
I placed the sand as the boundary for the sea, a perpetual barrier that it cannot pass:
though the waves toss, they cannot prevail; though they roar, they cannot pass over it.

A little too happy it's Spring,
Camille
