Woraksan National Park

Hello there,

I just chuckled because I asked Daniel the name of the place that we went and then asked him to spell it, his response, "W-O-R... aksan?"  In other words, "I don't know look it up."  Well, I found it LOL

So we went here for a day drive.  I get tired quite easily these days much to Daniel's dismay.  He still has the same energy level and wants to get out and see and do things.  Normally I like to hike and get out too but the energy gets sucked out of my body quite quickly.  I just wake up and am ready to take a nap pretty much immediately.  Hopefully this little person will be a good sleeper, that would be great.  I haven't slept through the night in quite awhile now since I can't sleep on my back or stomach and have to get up to use the restroom every couple of hours... ARGH!

Anyway, we went to this place.  The last time we tried to go was when we got into that car accident so we didn't make it that day but we made it back, accident free.  We saw a lot of apple orchards and persimmon trees along the way.  I should look up places to go apple picking.  I know that there are places to pick strawberries in season, I'm sure there are apple orchards to pick at too.

You might be wondering why after looking at those pretty pictures I have this in here... That would be because this is the "squatty potty" I got to use after our driving and walking around.  To make it even better, there was no toilet paper to be found and I am not about the drip dry life so thank goodness I had a wet wipe in my bag.

Then of course you "wash" your hands using this awkward bar soap thing hanging from the wall.  You literally have to get your hands wet in the cold water and then rub your hand on this oval of soap.  It's just an awkward (unsanitary) way of going about things.  So I just used my hand sanitizer.

 Once we got back we went to a meat restaurant that Daniel likes because he gets to pick out and cook his own food.

The only thing I don't like about the place are the "Korean napkins" which are basically 2 squares of toilet paper so you need a lot of them.
