Hi Everyone,
Daniel and I took the bus up to Seoul the other day, once again just to get out and about. We went to an area park but also were walking around in various neighborhoods. Initially I thought we were just going to be in an area called Itaewon which is an area with lots of shopping, cafes, and restaurants. We adventured beyond that area to a park where the accidental mini hike happened.
It wasn't a bad hike it was just that I was not wearing the appropriate type of pants (no stretch) and Daniel wasn't wearing the right type of footwear (sports sandals). The air here feels thick. I was told that this isn't even the worst of it since this is just the start of summer. Apparently the summers here are extremely humid and hot. I have been sweating just doing regular walking around base that normally wouldn't do anything. I am not looking forward to the summer.
Here are some random pictures I took along our walk...

Daniel leading the way
I guess this was considered the top.
Cool history info of the wall...
Some of the city view from the top. (Not the cleanest of air)
Korean graffiti...
So these signs were along the hike... I assume it is telling us to beware of snakes although these snakes look very friendly in the picture.
Not sure if you can tell but that scaffolding is actually a car parking-elevator (not sure what the real terminology is and don't care enough to look it up.)
A view back to the park where we hiked over a residential area.
A dog clothing boutique. I didn't go inside but from outside I could see that the clothes looked like animal costumes (sailing, tennis, etc.)
"Cookies may contain nuts or peanuts, even if not included in the ingredient list" in 24 different languages. Looks like Subway must be like everywhere in the world.
Colossians 3:15-17
And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.
Okay well, that's life for now,
Camille
