YAY!!! WOOT WOOT!!! UH HUH, OH YEA!!! YAY YAYEE!!! WOOHOO!!! :-D
The day has finally arrived. Please realize that I have been saying since January of this year that I am going to Australia. That I am finally-really-actually going is majorly exciting for me! I am genuinely glad to have everyone I've encountered able to share in my excitement. I have gotten texts, e-mails, mail and phone calls each day this week from you all sharing in the excitement and anticipation of what's to come. That makes me feel great to know I have so much collective support!
I just want to warn you all that I will not necessarily be able to always access the internet, so while my intention is to update this blog often, that may not be the reality. Only God knows where I will be and when I will be there. That being said I cannot affirm that I'll be able to always have timely updates or be able to respond immediately to e-mails. Thank you for your patience in advance! :-)
I think it's interesting to share that I will be traveling forward in time... I leave here July 6 and get to Australia on their July 8 but our July 7. That means that I don't get to experience July 7, 2013 in my lifetime, isn't that weird/cool!?! I'll be off of my regular time a very significant 14 hours so that should be interesting to catch up to :-P I was told to make sure I do not go to sleep when I arrive there so that should be 0% fun after being on and off of airplanes for 26 hours.
The next time I write, I'll be in Australia!!!
