...drum roll please...

I PASSED MY EXAM!!! :-)

THANK YOU FOR ALL THE PRAYERS, THEY HELPED!!!

There were distinctly two times during the day that I KNOW someone was praying for me.  One of the times was as I was driving to take my test and I was trying to focus and not be anxious about the test.  All of a sudden I was super calm and focused.  It was a blatant change and I knew I was being prayed for because of the peace I felt.  The second time was when I was at about the 2 hour mark and my brain was beginning to melt and I was getting fidgety in my seat and couldn't focus.  I was tempted to just start picking random letters on the computer screen to be done because I was over the exam at that point (and thinking, "I'm leaving for Australia on Saturday anyway.").  Again there was a sudden shift and I was totally motivated to answer the questions and was super focused.

After answering the 170 questions in about 2 1/2 hours time the testing center asks you to answer about 10 questions in a survey at the end of your exam before you get your results.  NOT OKAY!  My stomach dropped as I hurriedly answered "strongly agree" or "agree" to whatever the heck those dumb questions were.  I get that they wanted people to answer the questions and what better way than to do it before you give them their results, but come on!?!  Anyway, I saw the word, "Congratulations" and was ecstatic!

Oh and let's get real for a quick second... it is sort of evil to expect a person to sit for an exam for 4 hours!  I feel sooooooooo bad for children that have to sit for those awful state tests for 2 hours, especially children with mental health and/or trauma histories.  It is asking for too much!

So now that the exam is taken, and passed, I'm totally ready for my trip!  (I cannot actually get my Master's level license until I do all of the required paperwork but I'm just going to wait until I get back to the US because I do not have enough time).

4. days. to. go. YAY!!!!!!!!!! :-D
