I'm alive!!! :-)
Like I warned I have not had internet for the last few days (and actually no phone either) but I have some great pictures to share!!! I've also met a lot more people because of the tour I participated in. I've met people from New Zealand, Ireland, London, British Columbia, Spain, and even Sweden. I've taken a lot of time to meditate along the way. It's all been very refreshing and relaxing, minus the whole dingo bit which I'll share later... Enjoy the update!

The lovely hostel room I stayed in with 4 other girls... Yea, eww. minus 2 of those bags on the floor, EVERYTHING else was the other 4!!! Obviously, not cool :-P
I'll be traveling up the east coast with some road trip mates, all Queensland :-)
Our accommodations after the 1st night since, well you know it was raining and we couldn't sleep outside in the tent...
This weird wild turkey looking bird thing was chasing me a bit, notice he is in motion even as I took this picture!
BEAUTIFUL!
BEAUTIFUL :-)
FOY peeps can you spot Wilson!?! ;-)
On the drive up to Cairnes :-)
More of the view... (110 is the speed limit sign, obviously in kilometers and not miles.)
They don't pay before they pump and laughed at me as I took this picture shocked. You pump then pay here, when was the last time you saw that. Trying to explain how we do it in the States received some strange looks :-)
These are everywhere in public restrooms and apparently have helped reduce the spread of some diseases in Australia.
I guess this is like the equivalent of a goose in the US!?!
(sorry about the weird angle) This is at the hostel we stayed at in Hervey Bay 1 night. Clearly cleaner than my 1st hostel!
A view from the dock before we got on the ferry to take us to Fraser Island.
View from the ladies room aboard the ferry!
Our caravan for the next 3 days, 4 cars filled with 23 people camping, bring it on :-)
Several fresh lakes on the island and this was one of them, the first we stopped at and it was serene!
On Fraser Island, BEAUTIFUL!
Looks weird in this picture but this is a fresh water stream on the island! (to explain, this is clear water and you are seeing the sand through the water)
Getting closer to the lovely ocean (one of the girls in the group walked across the metal/wire contraption on the ground and received an electric shock, not actually funny but...)
The ocean!
There are many more pictures to come but this Wi-Fi is ridiculously slow and it's been a long day. You know with the car breaking down, us having to push the car then wait for half a day for the tow truck, and then the taxi taking us to the wrong hotel making us have to walk 1+ hours to the correct accommodations and all... LOL I'll get you all more information after I get some sleep and hopefully a better internet connection.
See ya, miss ya, love ya!!!
Camille
