Hey Loves,
Minus the heat and travel time, Daniel and I really enjoyed our trip to Busan. My best metaphor for how hot it is to imagine you are in someone's mouth and their breath stinks. It is moist and smelly here this summer and there is nothing you can do without beginning to sweat. I have stopped using all lotions because that makes it worse. I have no idea how women tolerate wearing make-up in this gross wet air. It is so wet that the other day I went to put a beach towel in the dryer and it had precipitation on the inside of the door!
Anyway, while in Busan we walked around and hung with our friends. I mentioned before that we were there to celebrate the wedding of a couple from church. I would guess that there were about 15 invited guests at the wedding and about 50 spectators. The bride was making comments about being uncomfortable with the people staring at her on the elevator ride down and I had to let her know, "Girl, people are going to be staring at you so just go ahead and accept that as a fact." I went to a wedding at Myrtle Beach a few years ago and there were people taking pictures and staring and mostly everyone in attendance was White. This was a Black woman marrying a White man on the Haeundae Beach in Korea so yea, good luck with not being stared at.
She was a beautiful bride ad everything turned out lovely. Congrats Jacob and Jennifer!!!
Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
With Love,

This was our view from our room :-)
That awkward moment when a Chinese couple wants you to be in their vacation pictures LOL
I thought that they were asking me to take their picture but then realized the wife wanted me in the picture with her. Then the husband got a picture with Daniel. Our pictures are probably floating around some random Chinese family's Facebook page.
Pretty views...
This was the view from where they had the reception.
Our first experience staying in a Korean style place.
At least the shower was separate. It is common here to not have glass separating the shower from the rest of the bathroom.
The bed was like bedazzled...
So this had us both laughing... It was hard to know what we should or shouldn't do. I'm going to guess they used Google translate.
The newly weds :-)
