At Fraser we had quite a hike (20-30 minutes) to go to the next fresh water lake...
When we got to this point we were confused because it looked like a dessert with trees on the outskirts and not a lake...
Nope, no lake that way...
Guess we'll walk this way...
AHA! There is the lake we're been looking for!!!
As I got closer I was increasingly excited, it was so pretty and perfect!
Hello Beautiful!
I think I'll stay here for awhile :-)
On the hike back to the trucks there was this lovely sight. It was actually a double rainbow but I didn't really capture the 2nd one.
I sat here each morning and just chilled out. At night I looked at the stars from this same spot.
Cool looking rocks on the beach we drove past one of the days
The beached baby whale :-(
Que bonita!?!
There are so many colors missing from this picture but you get the idea :-)
Random little cactus growing in the grass by the champaign pool we walked to...
GORGEOUS!
There were a lot of bloody feet leaving this place. I'm glad I didn't go in!
Not funny but...
Another beautiful view, this is from the edge of that cliff
That would be a wild dingo. It looks like a dog but they're actually quite dangerous.
Remember the song "Kookaburra sits in the old gumtree; Eating all the gumdrops he can see..." Meet "Kookaburra"
Maheno shipwreck at Fraser from 1857...
And yet another fresh water lake :-)
You should apply for a photography job....enlarge
