Hey All,
I'm back home now after my week long trip to Colorado. If you have never been I recommend it as a place to go. The Rocky Mountains are beautiful and the people there are nice compared to here. One of my high school friend's happened to be in Denver having a guys weekend with some of his friends and told me how surprised he was at the times he was bumped into and told "sorry" or 'excuse me." It's sad that this is not the norm nowadays. He also lived it up smoking marijuana while he was there since it is legal. I can't say that I am a fan of that but like we say, "It is what it is."
The weather was perfect the whole trip. The sun was out and there was a perfect autumn chill in the air that required a sweater, hat and pants but no coat really. My favorite part was going up into the mountains. Breathing up there, while doing something as simple as walking, isn't the easiest thing since I am not used to the elevation, but the view is spectacular. It snowed high into the peeks, seeing the clouds on the tip of the mountain was awe inspiring. I have been to Colorado before in the summer heading into my freshmen year of college but it was different. I believe that I was more able to appreciate the view and experience this time.
Enjoy some of the pics I took while there...
I was warned but yet I journeyed closer (had to get a decent pic!)
Hello there Bison.
Yep, it's beautiful there, just sayin.
I love that the mountain had snow on top. LOVED IT! It was seriously in the 60s at the bottom but as we drove higher the temperature obviously dropped significantly.
Oh, ya know, just standing in the middle of the road taking pictures, whatevs. ;-)
It looked cooler in person but still wanted to share.
Perfect!
Okay, so now I just need to get up to Michigan to visit my new baby niece. Then I will be settled down and seriously invested in looking for a job. Since quitting my job in May I have had a lot going on and since going to Oz I have had one adventure after another. God is great, God is good! Amen!
See ya, miss ya, love ya,
Camille
PS I did go to visit my guy and he is great :-)
